Drug booklets
As part of your therapeutic follow-up, your doctor has prescribed a targeted therapy.
The most widely used targeted therapies inhibit tyrosine kinase receptors (Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors, TKIs), enzymes that act at several levels on the cancer cell: cell growth, cell multiplication, development of vessels in the tumor (which allow the cancer to feed and grow in other areas of the body)...
Targeted therapies are treatments administered orally, and there are currently different classes of TKIs defined according to their therapeutic targets.
For more information on how to take your prescribed medication and its possible side effects, please refer to the Société Française de Pharmacie information sheets attached (French version).
