PRESENTATION
The GTE--ENDOCAN TUTHYREF research grant was created by the ENDOCAN TUTHYREF network, in partnership with the GTE in 2023.
OBJECTIVE
The aim is to help fund translational or clinical research project(s) in the field of refractory thyroid cancer within the ENDOCAN-TUTHYREF network.
SOURCE OF FUNDS
Funds come from the pharmaceutical industry.
For 2023: EISAI (€20,000) and IPSEN (€20,000)
AMOUNT AND USE OF FUNDS
All funds raised each year are earmarked for this project. In the event of a project costing less than the total amount of a grant, the remaining budget will be retained for the following year's grant. The overall amount of aid provided each year is defined in advance by the ENDOCAN TUTHYREF steering committee. The maximum amount allocated to a project is also defined by the ENDOCAN TUTHYREF steering committee.
The amount of aid is paid to an organization, not to an individual. The recipient organization is responsible for settling any charges (social, insurance, etc.), which are included in the amount paid.
The GTE--ENDOCAN TUTHYREF research grant is not intended to finance hospitality, transportation, rent or other amenities that may be attributed to the lifestyle necessary for the winning candidate to carry out his or her research subject.
